The unusual large round “something” without signage appeared on our hike and pondering that for a while we came to no conclusion of what it is …

Find out what the large round twig “thing” is by doing a guided hike with Breckenridge Heritage Alliance. They are well known for guided hikes throughout Breckenridge and with their extensive knowledge of the history of the area, you may want to join them on a guided hike on Iowa Hill Trail.

Visit, Breckenridge Heritage Alliance, for more information on this hike and other hiking excursions.

As you keep going around the loop a restored original boarding house brings lots of imaging about how it really was to be a miner in Breckenridge during the 1800s. Always love to see old buildings, cabins, and remnants of the past.

A great adventure if you are wanting a moderate, short, yet interesting hike with fresh air. Great for kids, getting the dog out, entertaining the relatives, and surrounding yourself with nature.
