The trail is a gentle 0.6-mile loop through tall pines & wildflowers. Doesn’t sound like much for a seasoned hiker like me but its beauty is captivating and never a disappointment to us.
New to hiking and want to a get a feel for a mountain hike? This trail might just be the one for you!
DO NOT FEED
You’ll be greeted by a colony of chipmunks scrabbling among the rocks. It’s highly recommended not to feed them.
We love coming here and never miss it. It’s quick, yet peaceful for a short easy stroll, a picnic, fresh air, or just because…
Add Sapphire Point to your Breckenridge, Keystone, Frisco, Silverthorne or Dillon visit.
PICNIC TABLES
Picnic tables and manmade teepees along the trail make it a great family outing, a place to show off to out-of-towners, especially those wanting to see Colorado and can’t do the big hikes.
